Our Mission
The QCLEK9 training group was originally established more than a decade ago as a collaborative effort amongst local K9 handlers to improve training opportunities, share knowledge and assist with retired dog’s medical funds. Over time, both the scope and demand for this training have significantly expanded.
As of 2026 the Organization has evolved into a formal Nonprofit Foundation to better support these growing needs. This transition reflects not only the increased demand for structured, high-level training, but also a long-term commitment to sustainability, accountability, and broader community impact.
Our mission is to honor and support law enforcement K9s. We aim to assist in providing critical medical care for our local retired police K9 teams and promote ongoing education and training to advance the field. We are committed to empowering K9 teams through knowledge, innovation, and excellence.
The QCLEK9 Foundation currently supports 17 active police K9 teams across 5 counties and 10 law enforcement agencies. These teams are routinely deployed in high-risk, time-sensitive situations where reliability and performance are critical to officer and public safety.
We are committed to responsible stewardship of all funds received and to delivering measurable improvements in K9 team performance, safety, and effectiveness.
Your support represents a direct investment in the safety of our officers, the capability of our K9 teams, and the well-being of the communities they serve.
